Beckwith-Wiedemann Children's Foundation International (BWCFI)
Beckwith-Wiedemann Children’s Foundation Int’l (BWCFI) has been educating and assisting families diagnosed with BWS since 1998. Our mission is to provide the correct information about BWS –at the initial diagnosis and throughout the child’s life.
BWCFI’s primary purpose is to provide educational and reference resources for families and individuals diagnosed with BWS. However, we can provide some of the following additional services as requested to families on an “as-needed” basis.
Travel assistance for BWS-related surgeries
Referral to physicians, professionals and medical facilities experienced with BWS.
Financial Grants (based on financial need and on an individual basis)
Help with insurance claim denial for BWS-related claim
Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF)

Since 2005, Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) has funded over 800 research projects at more than 135 hospitals working towards putting an end to childhood cancer.
Our grants team carefully selects projects to make sure ALSF supports the most substantive and critical contributions to the field of childhood cancer research. Proposals are evaluated and rated by ALSF’s Scientific Review Board or Nursing Review Board and approved by the Board of Directors.
ALSF is also the only childhood cancer research organization that has been given the NCI peer-reviewed funder designation for rigorous selection of research grants. (from alexslemonade.org)
