Together we can. Together we are! Thank you for your support.

What is BWS Awareness Day?

For decades parents, families, friends, and the medical community have led the effort to spread awareness about Beckwith-Wiedemann Syndrome (BWS).

  • Each year people from around the world come together on April 6th to combine their ignited passions, creating the momentum needed to reach new families and medical providers.

  • You are invited to the Annual Awareness & Advocacy Online Summit on BWS Awareness Day Virtual. A free online event on April 6th about Advocacy, Awareness, and Collaboration for your child's diagnosis.

  • Wear Yellow join us, invite your family, friends, co-workers, and schoolmates to wear yellow on the 6th of April to bring attention to BWS Awareness Day.

  • In Your Community you’re invited to share with pediatric providers and anyone working with pregnant women and babies, and young children.

Together We Can: Share Your Story and Save Lives

The campaign is about collaboration between families and the global community to help parents and caregivers advocate for the best care for the children diagnosed, or undiagnosed, with Beckwith-Wiedemann Syndrome. The goal of this campaign is to engage everyone, so we can reach those far and wide and by miraculous chance help families around the world find the resources & support they have been seeking. Share your story on social media on the 6th of April and use the hashtags: #BWSAD2024 #BWSAwareness
